It's been a very hectic summer for me. Moving from Alabama to our home base in KY, catching my breath for a short month while unpacking 2 year's worth of stuff, packed in a hurry and repacking for a 6 month stay in CA. I wonder some days (well, mostly nites, cuz that's when I get time to do the thinking) if I'll ever catch up, and then... it will be time to leave again. Just when I get my kids' schedule synced, grocery store sales figured out, thrift store, library, gym and other important places' routes all memorized without even having to consult my GPS or the local map... it is time to move on. But, I am not blogging my woes to have you feel sorry for me. You can pray for our family though. It's busy before, during and after a move. Really busy. I haven't made a move in scrabble or in chess in days. I almost timed out in 2 of my important games. The same day chess here cancells my membership, for no reason. Go figure!
I've been catching up with some awesome bloggers in my google reader (that's ranking it at about 1500). What a helpful tool. One of my very favorite scrapbooking friends rekindled my desire for photo editing (just check her Friday edit at the hyperlink) and keeping pace with one of my fav places to lurk - I heart faces. I've never tried my hand at the Fix it fridays because just the Mon-Tue contests were enough for me. But now, I am hooked! What great fun. But where will I get time? I don't know just yet.
It's way past midnite and it's about time for me to wrap it up for the nite. Swim team, BMX park , low carb meals, kids' meals, school curriculum, classes to be figured, etc awaits for me just a few short hours away. But I do hope to make a post about our summer as part of the I heart faces weekly shebang. It's not a contest. The founders are taking a vacation. But, oh, what a chance to document those memories! Tons of photos, even though we moved and all. I took pics, just haven't gotten them off my card and edited them, but I took some pics! I can see a few hours poured into it tomorrow! Nite y'all, nite owls! Or early risers- morning baby! You'll probably be the first one to read my post. Or maybe one of my East coast friends will?

Hi, I'm L's neighbor! (I guess you already guessed that!) It's lovely to meet you, I've heard so much about you and all your relatives!
I pray grace on you as you move--I can only imagine how stressful that must be.
Hey Natalie. I enjoyed your post. I didn't realize you only get to be in Calif. for 6 months! No wonder you're going crazy doing activities. I would, too!! Enjoy it while you can!!
Hope your school planning is going well. We're starting on Monday. 4 for me this year for the first time although J.E. doesn't have to register until he's 7 so I'm not too worried about him yet.
I better run. I shouldn't be reading blogs on Sunday morning. LOL
Blessings to you!
