Look, who's twelve!

Since I am on a roll blogging here and the oldest are back from skiing and crashed in their clothes with unbrushed teeth (I am sure, why would I want to check, right?) to get a few hours before a busy Sunday, I decided to get another one going. I've got to make up for lost time moving from CA to KY. So, bear wid me, ok?
Our oldest turned 12 just a few days ago and I took her out to the closest town (about 26 mi away). We had a few hours of just us time. Upon our return we celebrate with ice cream cake with her cousins and friends who decorated the window and got their house all nice and clean for us. Our house is way too small for company so we were very grateful for the offer. I just had to post a few pics.
PS Sorry about the underlines. I have no clue why blogger has to upload all pics at the top of your post and then underline it when I try to copy and paste. I wish I understood wordpress. I'd transition in a heartbeat.
I know, not the most flatterling pic of blowing the candles, but it's the only one I got, ok? Memories are memories. I can't wait to see her scrapbook them. She is so creative.

Candles weren't lit yet since I was just trying to see what the light was going to do before the candles melted for the perfect shot. Sorry about the cheat!
The ice cream cake was yummy! So glad our Walmart carried it since DQ is no longer in business . Like the candles? Anabeth chose them. I tell you she is so ethnic!
